God Is                                                             November 2018

 

God gives grace, and I follow in the wake of His glory,

Seeking evermore His humility,

Seeking evermore His patience,

Seeking evermore His peace.

 

God provides miracles as I watch in wonder,

His is the creation of all things,

His is the glory of new birth and springtime,

His is the respite of a winter evening.

 

The Lord loves me when I dislike others,

The Lord loves me when I forget to care,

The Lord loves me when I am careless with my words,

The Lord loves me despite who I am.

 

God is the Healer, I am His fingers,

God is the Author, I hold His pen,

Jesus is the Intercessor, I am His mouth,

The Holy Spirit is the Counselor, I am His ears.

Surround by beauty, glory, and miracles it is hard not to write with gratitude because we are so blessed. A sunrise over the mountains, a perfect azure wave breaking with dolphins surfing through it, a piece of pecan pie with coffee, a grandchild's smile; who are we that God could so richly endow us with these pleasures?! Life is to love and share with others all that we enjoy.
